Frank Myler attends a book signing session in the museum
‘A Touch of Class’ charts Frank's early playing career at Widnes through to his move to St. Helens and his latter years as player-coach at Rochdale, before his retirement from playing.
Fascinating excerpts from Frank's memoirs provide unique insights into his ‘Three Lions’ tours, including his glorious tour as the victorious Lions captain in 1970, and his 1984 tour as Coach. Frank's toughness and sheer rugby league ability stands out in this thoughtful account of his distinguished career and illustrates that he was indeed a player to sit back and admire.
Frank was accompanied by Jim Mills and Ray French. Also there was Dave Hadfield and Ron Campbell
